Does it violate Buddhist law to dissect an animal who's life was taken for the purpose of dissection?
This week, for my highschool biology class, I will be dissecting a preserved rat. The rats we will be dissecting were euthanized by a scientific company for dissection purposes. I wonder, would participating in the dissection violate the first precept, or any other Buddhist law?
