Masquerade/Phantom of the Opera, MC/Erik
So idk if anyone here played Masquerade, but it was recently taken down or deleted. It was one of my favs to play through to unwind in the evenings, so I’m pretty bummed that it’s gone cause now my little ritual is interrupted lol. To remedy this, I finally bit the bullet and am going to be publishing my own phantom of the opera story. It’s based on several sources, such as the original novel, the ALW musical, the 2004 movie, and the Masquerade production in NYC. It’s MC/Erik and I’m really trying to go with a longer format with a lot of fleshed out opportunities for the player to make customized choices and have a ton of autonomy. My main goal is as much flexibility and world building on the player’s end as they desire. Essentially I want you to be able to craft anything at all you can imagine within the Opera Garnier and craft whatever relationship you want with the phantom. It isn’t going to be like the original Masquerade story that was removed, but obviously will have many things in common given the formatting of the book/musical.
TLDR; my favorite story to play was removed, I’m missing phantom content big time, I’m writing my own with tons of player autonomy if you’re interested.
