Hello,

We will be headed to Japan soon with a toddler so I am in search of a versatile travel backpack that is useful as a diaper backpack also.

Requirements:

• Must fit airline personal item requirement under airplane seat
• must be a backpack
• Must have exterior pockets for water bottles
• must have a sternum chest strap for stability
• easily accessible pockets
• comfortable straps. Overall comfortable to wear while carrying kids.
• possibly waterproof exterior?
• main compartment must be easily accessible on an airplane (no clamshell design).

Anyone have any suggestions that might fit this bill? My current diaper bag is falling apart and not comfortable to wear so I’m looking for something more functional since we travel a lot.
