New spending caps and reward rates
The new limits depend on which card you carry. The entry-level Rogers Red Mastercard will have the lowest threshold at $16,000 per year. The Rogers Red World Mastercard follows with a $26,000 limit, while the Rogers Red World Elite Mastercard offers the highest cap at $61,000.
For Rogers, Fido, or Shaw customers who currently enjoy a 2% cashback rate on all purchases, exceeding these limits will see that rate cut in half to 1% for the remainder of their anniversary year. World Elite cardholders will see their rate drop to 1.5% after crossing the $61,000 mark.
