First time playing CSGO (CS2) in years. Machine used to be able to run it at 2k 60fps, now it won't launch due to not enough memory. Shame on Valve.
On one hand, it's nice of Valve to update their games. But on the other, this update is so massive that it breaks perfectly fine setups and forces people to upgrade to keep playing the same game, when they could have released cs2 as a standalone game and kept it separate from CSGO, as to not alienate those who choose not to spend their hard earned income on a new PC every other year.
Any workarounds or is this old hardware no longer CS capable?
Intel i5-4690k, 16gb RAM, GeForce 1660ti, SSD for game storage.
