Last fall I bought a procolored V6 panda and I have never regretted a purchase so much. I should have done MUCH more research. Alas. I now have this $5k hunk of junk sitting in our shop and despite hours being poured into it trying to get a sellable print, we’ve yet to achieve one. Hundreds of prints on various substrates, not a one prints at a level that is sellable.
Main issues are failure to cure (biggest issue by far, no print is cured fully and comes out sticky and it never dries down). blurry prints, impossible to get positioning accurate, overspray at the edges, white base layer extending beyond the edge of the print. We’ve spent so much time on the troubleshooting chat and after many adjustments they finally said “it must be that your materials are low quality” which truly enraged me that they couldn’t figure out the issue so they blamed it on our materials. But we got the same results despite the material, and our primary use case was printing on acrylic for which we use incredibly high quality acrylic.
So now I am just at a loss with what to do with it. I would love to get it to print signs that are acceptable enough to sell so that I can make the money back we spent on it, but support is no help, and there are not even any helpful YouTube’s out there for using this printer.
Has anyone been able to print on this printer, or is it time to just have a good cry about the $5,000 down the drain and throw it in the garbage? We can’t even sell it…we’ve had it listed for months for $1500 🤮
