Best jewelry brands/grail pieces/necklaces
Hi, I’m not sure if this question is allowed, since I’m not asking for myself, but I want to give my girlfriend a gift that will make her a little happier.
For context, we’ve only been together for 2 months, but she has been struggling with mental health issues ever since we met, and frequently self harms. She has a lot of trauma, so I don’t tell her to stop, but I just try to be there for her when she wants to self harm and try to comfort her after.
I’ve noticed good improvement over time. Now, she takes her antidepressants, make sure to eat something everyday, doesn’t self harm as often, and she’s more patient and doesn’t get overly anxious when I don’t respond to messages immediately. I tell her that I’ve noticed her improvements and am so proud of her for trying so hard, even if trying is so difficult for her.
In addition to telling her with words, I also want to show my appreciation for her effort by giving her a gift. She likes jewelry, particularly necklaces, so I want to choose a necklace for her.
Unfortunately I’m not familiar with J-fashion, and not very familiar with women’s fashion in general, so I need help choosing something she’ll actually like. She did mention shopping at Shibuya 109 when she lived in Japan, but from what I remember, it seemed to be mostly dresses.
Fortunately, money isn’t an issue for me, so I can afford to spend on something nice for her. But I don’t want her to feel like she owes me anything, since she has trauma from being taken advantage of by older men in the past (I’m 5 years older than her) so I don’t want to get her something absurdly expensive yet. I’ll say $2k is my budget for now.
