disclaimer: mods – i hope this is okay for me to post, not sure which flair is best. nothing i am teaching here is illegal. all of this information is publicly accessible, if you know how to access it! not every company makes this information available to the public, but baggu does. also wanted to note, i am positive there are other ways to access inventory levels, this is just the way i know how to do it! i only know how to do this using google chrome, so this tutorial will only work if you are using google chrome on a desktop (does not work on mobile or tablet, that i know of).

for anyone wondering how to access information regarding inventory levels of items on the baggu website, there is a very simple way to do this. if i explain this correctly, anyone should be able to do this from start to finish in less than 5 min! once you do it a couple times, you will likely have the steps memorized & will be able to do it in under a minute. no fear, you got this! it may look complicated, but i promise it's not– you will be ignoring 99% of the complex features.

steps:

1. navigate to the product webpage for the item you want to know the stock amount of
2. right click anywhere on the page & select "inspect" – this screen will appear. from the main inspect menu, select the "network" heading to navigate into the network menu

3. within the network menu, as shown below, select "fetch/xhr". note the remainder of the process goes quicker if the "preserve log" feature is UNCHECKED

4. once you have the "fetch/xhr" selected & the "preserve log" unchecked, reload the webpage by clicking the reload button (circular arrow next to webpage url). additional list items will appear when you reload the page. it will auto scroll to the very bottom of the list, so you'll need to manually scroll back to the top to find the list item we are looking for

5. look for the very first list item with the name "graphql.json", as shown below. once you find it, click on it. note there will be multiple list items with this name that show other info, so you need to make sure you find & select the very first one!

6. you're in the home stretch, now! from within the "fetch/xhr" menu, select "response". under response, total inventory level will be listed somewhere near the top, as shown below (outlined in green). a little lower, it will list the name of the item– you can use this to double check you are viewing the inventory for the correct item

helpful tip: from here, if you wanted to check the stock for another color of the same item on the same webpage (for example, if i now wanted to check the stock of the sage stripe SCCO), do the following: keep everything in the inspect menu open as it is. on the baggu page to the left, select the other color you want to view the inventory amount for, reload the webpage, & re-do steps 5 & 6!

I am a crossbody girl through & through. never really been into the bowler because I can’t stand shoulder bags.

has anyone successfully removed & replaced the straps on the bowler with a single, longer strap so the bag can be worn crossbody? even one shorter shoulder strap would be cuter to me than the dual straps. I tried to love it, but I just can’t with it constantly sliding down / falling off my shoulder 💔
