#LiberateAt28 New campaign to support Luigi just launched!
A new campaign to support Luigi called #LiberateAt28 has just launched, and YOU are invited to join!
There are two main goals: to get everyone talking publicly about why Luigi should be free at 28, and to get a big boost to his defence fund, hopefully maxing it out before his birthday on May 6.
Givesendgo has a minimum $5 donation, if this is a barrier for anyone it's no problem! Spreading this campaign outside of dedicated supporter bubbles is a much needed task, so think about all the ways people have related to Luigi and his case, and post in spaces connected to those reasons as well as with known supporters. Spread it across all socials, and post in forums where dormant support needs rousing. Hell, go ahead and tag celebrities who have expressed support for Luigi before. We need all hands on deck to rebuild broad public momentum and reinvigorate open, unabashed support from quietened quarters, stronger and louder than ever!!!
The government and press want the entire public to believe that we will be isolated if we openly support him, but we will not let that create the silence they want.

Why Liberate at 28?
Since 2024 Luigi Mangione has been incarcerated at MDC Brooklyn in pre-trial detention. His 28th birthday on May 6 will be his second behind bars, let’s support him getting free before his next one! Donate to his legal fund with the hashtag #LiberateAt28 with your message on why you believe Luigi should be free at 28, take screenshots and post on your socials. Luigi acknowledged the diversity of people who have written to him from all around the world, let's remind the world we are still here!

Create visual media that includes the existing text with your style (and add the description so people know what's up) but please don't brand it with a group/org logo without explicitly saying we/group name support the campaign, e.g. "The Green Sweater Org supports this X named campaign', it shouldn't appear like it's a specific person/groups own campaign or an exercise in branding/self promotion, the campaign message/goals and Luigi should be the focus! We can do this together for him!

Any different messaging people want to add should be clearly stated as their own additions e.g. Green Sweater Supporter Org/We support this campaign for X reason/s, people should feel free to add their reasons on/with the graphics they make/share, because your support inspired creativity is wanted too!
There's some static graphics for picture-based posts, and 10 second 'videos' of the same graphics available so you can add cute effects/motivating music to help encourage circulation and inspire participation.
