What are your top gw questions?

I created our intro post to abnormal smears to address many of the initial questions and worries we get posted here all the time.

It has saved me and the other mods from typing out the same answers, and I believe has helped many people understand what can be a confusing diagnosis.
I've had in mind for some time to create a similar post for gw. I've been putting it off partly because gw is a much more complicated topic, with much less research/concrete advice and more ambiguities.
With that in mind:
What are the top 1-3 things you would have wanted to know when you first got diagnosed?
