[Question] First AR build. What do I need to check/do before I use it for the first time?

I’ve only shot handguns, PC carbines, and shotguns. I didn’t want to miss out on the AR platform, so I assembled a stripped lower from a PSA kit and added a PSA complete upper. All the mechanicals appear to be working properly. BCG is smooth. Trigger, mag release, bolt release, and safety all appear to be working.

Is there anything else I need to check or do before I take it to the range and fire live rounds for the first time?
