IEM over headphone amplifier with Digitakt II?
Hi everyone. Looking for some advice / suggestions on using in ear monitors with Digitakt II.
Why: I share an apartment with my partner who sometimes watches TV while I'm doing music, and both are located in the living room. I use DT 700 PRO X as my main headphones, but the sound from TV is bleeding into them and that apparently is messing up with my work. They cannot use over ear as it's uncomfortable with glasses, and in-ear for prolonged time as well as they have sensitive ear canal.
What I'm thinking: To get an amplifier like FIIO K7 to plug in puts from Digitakt into, and use isolating IEM like ER4XR. I understand this is not ideal, but that would probably be much better than hearing my music mixed with TV.
Did anyone do something similar? Any recommendations on the setup / IEM model?
I cannot use a spare room as there is only living room and bedroom, and frankly I'm not very keen to move my setup to the bedroom. I will use DT 700 PRO X as much as possible for referencing, of course.
