Confused about what to expect from Hampta Pass trek
We are a group of six planning to go to Hampta Pass trek in early to mid sept. None of us have had trekking experience before.
There’s confusion regarding a couple of things.
Which company to book? Packages range from 5000 to 12,500. What is drastically unpleasant about the ones charging such low amount and what about the companies charging on the higher end? Need details on food and camps. What is the key difference.
What views to expect in September. Is there any rainfall? Or is it completely sunny? Snow patches?
A question which is very valid — Where to pee or poop? Toilet tents will be settled in the base camps right? How to manage nature’s call while on trail?
How many clothes do we actually need? I’m already “i might need this too” packer. I do not wanna overpack and carry heavy luggage all day.
