Thanks Undertale.
Around 2-3 weeks ago, I decide to open my pc out of nowhere. I was scrolling through here and there. I stumbled upon some pixel arts which led me to a game I never thought would change my life.
Playing undertale was one of the greatest things to happen to me. I often felt disgusted by people who were clingy about some game, but I understand now.
The recurring themes of trauma. The sprouts of invisible hope it grew through mere words alone. Something I never felt before. The show not tell representation of lonliness and nihism immediately hooked me. I could'nt help but realise its beauty. Every minor charecter and every small interraction wasn't just the fallen human growing, It was a part of my psyche I was discovering again.
A game where no-one has to die. But everything lies at your mercy. It makes one realise how serious life is. But the recurrent messages of keeping on and determination, those really hit the spot.
Charecters that I loved and hated first but I love even more now.
A story that is deep. Incredibly vast and complicated. But simple when you really want to get to know it.
I was finally able to shed some tears thanks to this game.
