So just got the 78c. Getting reminded of 68c

68c was a software update to find a bad battery. They were supposed to test the vehicle first, then give it back if it didn’t fail.

My dealer didn’t test. I just got it back with the same miles. 2 weeks later it failed. Limped it back to the dealer. 9 weeks later I got my vehicle back.

78c is supposedly similar in that it looks for engine issues associated with sand in the engine.

My dealer didn’t drive it 2 miles. I’m expecting failure sometime soon.

Anyone here have 78c fail and waiting for a new engine?
