In 2024 students of the university of Queensland protested against UQ having ties to Israel and a centre named after Boeing (I think thats the one it was) but despite the university held a historic vote to ask students wether or not they should divest from Israel I haven’t heard anything about change. Mind you this vote that was held had like ten people vote against it after 1500 people were in attendance at the vote! AND I STILL HAVENT HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT PROPER CHANGE! I would like to attend UQ as they’re the only Uni who offer the course I want to take but I don’t think I can give 5000 dollars to them if they haven’t implemented any change.

Thoughts? Or perhaps they have implemented change I couldn’t find any info about?
