I just received a guzheng, and it was out of tune.
I tried tuning it myself using an app to help me identify the note, and I also measured out the bridge placement from guzhengonline (website). TWO of my strings snapped now and it was terrifying. I’m so confused how to do this correctly, because even when I carefully measure, it still snaps :(
