Shoe timeline? Help!
Placed plenty of bag and accessory orders, as well as one shoe order—so not a total newbie. I reached out to a different TS that was mentioned in the threads and did less research than usual before placing an order. Here’s my situation: our initial conversation was March 26th. Order placed the same day. Four days later I got a text to confirm a style that I did not order. We reviewed the order and reconfirmed on the 31st. On April 2nd I was shown pictures of the shoes and asked to confirm details. (Not my shoes. Just the shoes they were planning to make, apparently.) On the 5th I asked when the first pair would be ready and she said that things were delayed because of the holiday. It’s now the 11th and I have not seen any PSPs. So my question: we are now 16 days in—is this normal? I don’t want to badger the seller, but I don’t know at what point I’m being an idiot. I understand that shoes take time, but it’s the combo of lack of communication and lapses in time that are strange to me. Admittedly I’ve always worked with very communicative and transparent sellers in the past. Curious other people’s experiences.
