Are there mods to fix this? Have the devs acknowledged how bad the buildable lighting is?

I am nervous to get surgery out of fear that I'll never be able to lift heavy again, whereas for now weightlifting is not so bad and the real pain comes while laying down, sitting, working at a desk, etc. Worried about ability to play guitar. Don't know if it would be decompression or transposition.

It seems like 99% of experiences shared here are about the first few months of recovery, I never hear anything about long term outlook.
