Bumblebees keep following me?
This has happened three times now and I have no idea why. I hiked over 20 km today and I think for 80% of it, there was at least one bumble bee circling me as I hiked along (usually from what I could tell). It didn't get that close but it was like being stalked by drones, just a constant hum around me. I didn't notice any other type of flying insect following me, just the bees.
I've changed clothes (usually I wear a teal shirt so I tried grey and brown, same result), I don't use scented products (aside from shampoo/conditioner, and that scent isn't fruity or floral at all), I use unscented laundry detergent. I'm not carrying a load of loose candy in my bag or anything.
I don't mind the hovering, I just worry if they're pissed off I might get stung eventually. Does this happen to anyone else?
