Sinabi sa DZMM ni dating senador Antonio Trillanes IV na 'staged' lamang umano ang putukan sa Senado ngayong gabi.

Real journalists don’t just report from safety — they step into chaos with a mic, a camera, and shaking hands but steady hearts.

Salute to all media patrols, reporters, and journalists covering the situation at the Senate tonight.

Amid the tension, confusion, shouting, and sudden bursts of gunfire, they stayed on the ground—not backing away, but holding their position to keep the public informed in real time.

While most people would instinctively run from danger, they chose to stay focused on their duty. You could see it in their actions—voices shaking, steps cautious, but reporting continues. Cameramen still rolling, reporters still speaking, field crews still coordinating even in the middle of chaos.

What stood out most is how they looked out for each other. Different networks, different teams, but in moments like this, it turns into one goal: make sure the truth reaches the people safely and accurately.

To every journalist, cameraman, producer, and media staff on the field tonight—thank you for your courage, professionalism, and sacrifice. Your work matters more than ever in situations like this.

Stay safe always. 🇵🇭🫡

Did anyone else watch the Senate incident unfold LIVE earlier? Ang daming bagay na hindi nagtutugma.

I first watched it on TV Patrol, and before the actual putukan/barilan happened, naka-focus na yung reporters sa isang pinto sa loob ng Senate because apparently may naririnig na silang commotion or unusual sounds from that area. Some people there were even speculating na parang may nagtatangkang pumasok because the sounds reportedly resembled drilling or forced entry noises coming from behind the door. Kaya sobrang curious na rin nung mga journalists and reporters at that time kung ano ba talaga yung nangyayari sa side na yon.

Then suddenly everything escalated. Reporters and journalists started panicking and pushing through the hallways because they didn’t know what was happening anymore. Understandably traumatic kasi literal na live mong makikita yung confusion sa loob.

What caught my attention was that some security personnel and police on-site were allegedly saying na NBI raw yung involved sa operations or sa mga unang putok/commotion. Pero later on, when the Director of the NBI arrived and got interviewed, sinabi niyang wala raw siyang alam about the incident and that he only came after being informed.

That part really confused me.

If members of the NBI were really involved or present during the escalation, how does the Director supposedly have no prior knowledge? Was this an authorized operation? Miscommunication? Internal confusion? Ang labo kasi ng statements.

Another thing: may reports/interviews pa from some senators saying na beforehand, may mga bulungan na raw telling certain people to leave the Senate already. Others were reportedly being told na “fireworks lang” daw yung naririnig nilang putok, but eventually employees themselves started running in panic because may actual armed situation na pala.

Then later, DILG Sec. Jonvic Remulla suddenly says they weren’t there to arrest Sen. Bato Dela Rosa but to “protect” him.

Protect him from what exactly?

And this is where people will naturally start asking uncomfortable questions: was all of this chaos somehow used as a distraction or tactic for Sen. Bato to avoid something or quietly leave the area? Kasi ang daming weird timing and conflicting explanations na lumabas habang nangyayari lahat.

At this point mapapaisip ka rin talaga: panakip-butas lang ba to? Bakit parang habang tumatagal, mas dumadami yung inconsistencies instead na luminaw yung nangyari? Ang hirap paniwalaan kapag paiba-iba yung statements ng officials habang live na nasasaksihan ng buong bansa yung kaguluhan. Parang everyone’s trying to control the narrative habang wala pang malinaw na explanation.

I’m not saying that’s the truth, and I’m not accusing anyone directly. I’m just pointing out the confusing details people literally witnessed live on national TV. Kapag paiba-iba yung statements at unclear yung sequence of events, natural lang talagang magtanong ang publiko kung ano ba talaga yung nangyari behind the scenes.

Looking for honest insights: What Canva templates do Gen Z students actually need/use right now?

Hi everyone!

I'm a small graphic designer currently planning to start selling Canva templates online (also promoting them through TikTok and other platforms). I want to make sure I'm not just creating "pretty designs," but actually building templates that solve real problems for students and young people (especially Gen Z).

Before I start posting and selling, I'd really appreciate honest insights from students, creators, or anyone familiar with what people actually search for online.

My questions are:

1. What do students usually struggle with when it comes to school work or presentations?
For example:
- presentation slides (Canva)
- school project layouts
- study planners or schedules
- group project coordination

2. What types of templates do you personally search for or wish existed?
Like:
- aesthetic school presentation templates
- minimalist vs colorful layouts
- fast "ready-to-use" assignments
- study planners
- school club / org posters

3. What trends do you notice on TikTok or online right now?
What kind of templates go viral or get shared a lot? (especially anything Gen Z students are using for school or personal productivity)

4. If you were a student buying templates, what would actually make you pay for it instead of just making it yourself?
- time-saving?
- aesthetic design?
- uniqueness?
- ease of use?

5. Any specific niche ideas I should focus on?
I'm trying to narrow down what to specialize in instead of doing random designs.

I'm really trying to build something useful and not just "another template shop," so any honest feedback would help a lot
Thank you in advance!

Beginner freelance advice for a student interested in graphic design?

Helloooo! I’m a student looking for side hustles/freelance work I can do from home, preferably related to graphic design, digital products, or digital marketing.

I’m not exactly broke, but most of my money just comes from allowance during school days 😭 Sometimes I earn extra money by doing art/drawing homework for classmates since some of them can’t draw, and sometimes people ask me to print stuff for them because they don’t have a printer/computer. (At this point I accidentally became the “school service center” 💀)

Recently I’ve been thinking about trying things like:
- Selling digital products/templates/designs
- Graphic design freelancing
- Posting graphic design/content creation stuff on TikTok or Pinterest
- Maybe learning digital marketing or social media related work

The problem is I honestly don’t know where to start, so I’m looking for advice from people already doing this.

I’m looking for something that:
- Can start with low to moderate investment
- Is still growing / worth starting now
- Can realistically make money as a student

I’d love to hear:
- What side hustle/freelance work you do
- How long it took before you earned money
- Approx beginner monthly earnings
- Biggest challenge when starting
- Whether you think it’s still worth getting into now

Would appreciate any honest advice or experiences 🙏

Does anyone with G6PD deficiency safely dye their hair?

Hello! I have G6PD deficiency and I’ve been wanting to dye my hair because I’m getting bored of my natural black hair. My mom mentioned that I might get reactions from hair dye because of my condition, so I started researching ingredients to avoid.

Based on what I found, some ingredients that may be risky are:
- Henna
- Ammonia
- Hydrogen peroxide
- PPD (p-phenylenediamine)

I’m trying to look for hair dye brands/products that are free from those ingredients, but it’s honestly hard to find reliable information.

I also haven’t asked my pediatrician/doctor about this yet since I haven’t seen her in a while, so I wanted to ask here first:

Does anyone here with G6PD deficiency dye their hair safely? What products or brands worked for you? Did you experience any reactions?

Would appreciate any advice or personal experiences!!
