How I see the year and seasons

Curious to know if anyone else views the seasons in a certain way! I view them in a circle and by a spectrum of colour.
There are some other shades in my brain but I was limited to with the colours I had

My experience with a word - Rot

Someone challenged me to write about the word rot. This is my experience with the word.

Rot is both decay, regrowth and consistently stagnant. It’s both holey and whole, new and old. Rot is nature but man made hellscape. It’s brown, like the light reflecting on the forest floor drying after a downpour. It’s the dark, sodden Earth slowly giving up the drink, holding in as much as possible before the sky takes it all back. Rot is that period the Earth is begging again for a drink, feeling the effects like a hangover.
Rot is the period before rebirth. But, no rain takes us to driest of dry, a sandy wasteland, forever changing with the breath of Earth. The breath, inconsistent and unpredictable, sculpting mountains, carving valleys and burying secrets. The rot is the closest thing to anew, without it, there would be no beauty in winged creatures, no new skin on the scaly, and no growth in the mind. The rot is the journey we all take. The sunsets glinting on the ocean, warming the last bit of the day. The soft hues of pinks and oranges, dancing goodbye across the sky. The salty air engulfing the night’s impending embrace, the full-body hug of the warm sea. The sun “rotting” away to give way for the howls of the world, the tiny twinkles, high in the sky, the blues and purples fading to black. Rot is the daily beauty of life. The sweet aromas of tomatoes slowly breaking down in a pot, the wafts of garlic swirling through the air, mixing with the smells of the beginning of spring flying through the the open window. The memories intertwined with the breeze, whisking you around the world, to places, scents, sounds, and colors of other lifetimes of time gone by. Rot, the most essential piece of existence, the key to finding, changing, growing, and most of all, living.
