This little guy is fine right?
Only asking because yesterday or the day before there were three others that are bigger and all flew away when I walked outside. I just noticed this little pop his head up and look at me. I haven't seen the parents in a day or two, so just want to make sure this might be normal.
Treat Obessesion
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. My Shiba (Kitsu) is a pretty awesome dog. She's overall friendly and loving to nearly anybody after barking at them crazily of course. She is great with vets and groomers when going for a shot or getting groomed. I'm told often she's one of the best Shiba's they've seen, unless of course they say that to everybody. She's pretty obsessed with me too and follows me everywhere when she wants or has no problem ignoring me. However, the last few months I started giving her and my other dog these Purina Busy Bone treats that are peanut butter flavored. Saying she loves them is in understatement and her behavior with them is pretty concerning to me to the point, I am debating not giving them to her anymore. She exhibits the following:
- Aggression if you go near her while they are in her possession. If I pet her she will start growling thinking I will take them.
- Anxiety being away from them, will pace around until she finds it.
- Guards them for a few days before eating them.
- Debates going outside to go to the bathroom unless she takes it or runs out and back in. I literally have to yell at her to go back outside and go to bathroom, lol.
She's very stubborn and difficult to train and right now she's sleeping with two of them. She stole my other dog's treat, but my other dog doesn't really care and is not a fan of them.
