In the past you could go about 4-5 streets every light cycle going between 20-25 mph. Now its impossible to go past more than two streets per light cycle.

Before, you would see a green wave starting when you light turned green. Now when your light switches to green, you then see the light two blocks ahead switching to yellow.

Did someone say there is too much through traffic on 31st Ave? It never seemed like an issue to me. The already made 34th ave into an open street and have the bus lane on Northern Blvd, so I am not sure where the traffic is even supposed to flow. Do they want everuone to be stuck on a one lane line on Northern Blvd from the BQE to Willets Point?
