Looking at getting a 2025 Octavia Sportline.

Do around 20k miles a year, a mix of motorway driving and A-roads. Biggest journey is once a month at most which is a 300 mile round trip to Shropshire. Do around 2/3 journeys a month which are around 150/200 mile round trip. The rest is shorter journeys less than 50 mile round trip.

Stuck between going for diesel or sticking with petrol. The petrol has 19 inch draconis alloys and has done 2k miles whilst diesel is 18 inch alloys with 7.5k miles.

Have test driven both and both feel basically the same. The diesel has arguably a bit more pull to it. Any pointers to consider would be appreciated.
