Why isn't the simple subtraction not working?

My cell has 2.8 quadrillion minus 31.5. It comes out at the end with ...970.00. I want to avoid rounding!

I've played around with the cell format and have tried ROUND and TRUNC and even INT to get it closer. No luck!

I've gathered enough leather care information that you want to generally lightly wipe clean the cover and condition the leather if you want to freshen it up. However, the inside of the cover is not smooth. How do you clean the inside? The pencil and eraser gunk I can brush off, but there are some small parts I'd like to clean a little more.
