Shed on 4x4 skids and blocks seems to have one block that has moved. How to remedy this?
Here's images of what I'm talking about
Bought a house and renovated the interior/exterior (mostly done anyway), now it's time to deal with the yard and such. This shed is in great condition, the interior is perfect, the outside is dirty, but perfect save for that corner bead damage from what I presume is lawn mowers and such hitting it.
I didn't realize there was any issue here because there was THICK grass right around and under the shed, like tough to remove St.Augustine and weeds and stuff. So the first thing I did was pull that crap out by hand, then I dug a little trench around the sides where I'm going to compact the ground but some underlayment and rocks, after I drive some cattle panels into the ground sealing under the shed from critters. I have a problem with cats getting under there which causes me all sorts of issues with my dogs (who do not go under there, but are very interested in it, so I better handle this now).
After removing the debris and pulling some of what you might call sod out I notice one of the blocks in the back corner has dropped. What's the way to deal with this? It just seems to be this one corner. The back of the property where this is has a pretty steep 4 or 5 degree grade so probably over the 20 years this shed has been here it's washed out some.
I'm not climbing in there for obvious reasons, but I was debating on whether I can slide that block back under with a horizontal jack and maybe slide another block in there next to it, or if I actually have to jack the corner of the shed up and get under there and compact the ground and all that mess.
Wanted to take care of this before I cattle-panel up the bottom.
Thanks
Edit: To be clear, I'm not responsible for the block moving, my little digging didn't do it, it's been this way for an unknown amount of time without any issue.
