Collapse of the Soviet Union - Perm Soviet Government unification
Lore:
The Soviet Union is at the breaking point. After they had avenged the German Reich in 1984, the union regains its glory and power as like how it was before the Moskowein war. However, the ideology of Stalinism is outdated and unstable, slowing economic growth and stopping revisions to the union. By 1996, the country returns to its pre-1984 state. In 1997, Mikhail Gorbechev created an economic revitalization plan, which allows private business and corporations to operate independently in the union. Foreign influences and cultures enter the union and weakened the system of Stalinism. The attempt to opens the union to the world backfires, as now the people is seeking equality to the rest of the world. In 1998, Gorbachev creates an executive order, which gives more rights and free speech to the people. People can now criticize the state and promote political ideologies without being punished by the state. This actions also backfires, as now the attempt to turn the country to Kalininism, turns the country to Transitioning Democracy. The final nail to the coffin happens in 1999, when Gorbachev allows the independence of the Baltic states. As the three nations turns to democracy, other nations also seeks their independence. Ukraine, Armenia and Georgia followed, and Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan soon join them. Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Krygyzstan turn to democracy, as Russia, Belarussia and Kazakhstan stay as the last remnants of the communist states. Finally, the union was dissolved on December 31, 1999.
