Honor is dead, but I’ll see what I can do!!! I can’t believe I was sleeping on Brandon Sanderson🔥

Update to this post.

I finished The Way of Kings, roughly 5 days back and instantly jumped to Words of Radiance. My God!

The worldbuilding is insane. Not just big, but layered. Every time I feel like I understand something, there’s another layer underneath it. The lore, the history, the little hints about how everything ties together, it just feels massive in the best way.

But more than anything, Kaladin. I don’t think I’ve ever connected with a character like this before. The way his internal struggles are written, the weight he carries, the small moments of hope he clings to, it all feels painfully real. Watching him rise, fall, and rise again has been one of the most satisfying character journeys I’ve ever read. Easily my favorite character from any book, no contest. I genuinely can’t wait for the day he’s on screen.

I’m about 75% into Words of Radiance right now, and even before hitting the full “Sanderlanche,” this book already feels like it’s constantly paying you back. Compared to The Way of Kings, where everything builds and then explodes at the end, this one keeps delivering throughout, which makes it really hard to put down.

Overall, this has been a straight 10/10 experience so far. I’m completely hooked. I just want more of Kaladin, more answers about the world, more understanding of the magic system, and honestly just more time in this universe.

Can’t wait to finish this and dive even deeper.
