Denied with 690 score
Applied for a $12,000 personal loan to consolidate credit card debt. Score is 690, employed full time for three years, income $58,000. Got denied.
Rejection letter mentioned debt to income ratio. I have about $24,000 across three cards and a car loan. Is that what pushed my DTI over the limit?
I thought 690 was enough to get approved somewhere. What are lenders actually looking at beyond the score?
