Hello Slugs! I am graduating this May as a PhD student, and I am planning to propose to my girlfriend after my defense! She has always been a redwood person and UCSC imo is the best place to propose! I was wondering if you all have some cute/green spots to share with me!

The awards criteria is something I am very curious about, I have a few best paper awards at good conferences, but will the officer find say 4 best paper awards as an indicator of me being the top of my field is a question I am asking myself. I am curious what sort of awards the community has used to meet this criteria. Please do consider sharing your insights and strategies.
