Question for those that work in this field

Didn’t know this would be a potential problem but I should’ve figured… Recently started looking for work in access control after finishing my locksmithing training program.

Got an interview for a job installing security systems, dream job honestly. They haven’t mentioned anything about hiring or drug testing yet but so far it looks like I’m an option. I live in a state where recreational marijuana use is legal but I looked it up and apparently I can expect to get “rejected” or “fired” from specifically access control companies with a positive THC result. And apparently even a medical card doesn’t do anything. I wanted to know if this is really the case and the experience people that work in this field have had with drug testing. Is THC a deal breaker?

Access control and security system installation companies policies on THC use

Didn’t know this would be a potential problem but I should’ve figured… Recently started looking for work in access control after finishing my locksmithing training program.

Got an interview for a job installing security systems, dream job honestly. They haven’t mentioned anything about hiring or drug testing yet but so far it looks like I’m an option. I live in a state where recreational marijuana use is legal but I looked it up and apparently I can expect to get “rejected” or “fired” from specifically access control companies with a positive THC result. And apparently even a medical card doesn’t do anything. I was hoping there were other locksmiths here in the access control or security systems field that have experience with situations like this, whether themself or somebody they knew. Any help is appreciated!

Just beat this game for the first time

I played it on my cousin’s xbox when I was a little kid but all I would do was free roam cuz he’d already beaten the game. GTAV was my first and I was the kid that rolled his eyes whenever somebody said IV was better. But after really playing it for the first time I completely understand why people say it’s the best GTA.

The story felt more grounded and realistic, I’m a big Sopranos fan and it reminded me a lot of it (and Mafia 2 tbh) Niko is the coolest MC, his demeanor and dialogue is awesome. The writing is so good and funny and every mission felt cinematic. The driving took some getting used to at first but once I got the hang of it I couldn’t tell if maybe I liked it more than V’s, its very satisfying when you get good at it. Liberty city is so much more immersive than Los Santos that after playing in it I feel like things were missing in LS.

After I finish the DLC I will have to try the GTA’s that came before, but It’ll take a lot for any crime game to top IV for me now.
