Golden oysters found in southern michigan
Found some of the invasive oysters in my hometown. I know they're a bit young for harvesting but my family is going out of state tomorrow and I wanted to try them.
YUMMIEST MUSHROOMS I'VE EVER HAD!! I've had oysters from the grocer a few times but they were NOTHING compared to these. I sautéed them with some store-bought button mushrooms and the buttons soaked up a bunch of the oyster flavor. Will be coming back to this log when I'm back in state.
