From Pennsylvania to Oregon

Hey all! Me and my family live in Oregon, but most of my mom’s side of family lives in PA. My dear grandma in PA just passed away recently. My mom is inheriting her car (it’s a 1998 Toyota Camry so nothing fancy lol). In May we are going back to PA for the celebration of life event for grandma, then my mom and cousin Stephanie are going to drive the car all the way across country to Oregon (Eugene).

I have the opportunity to join on this road trip, but I’d want to take my time with it, like 5 or 6 days probably. I would want to make fun stops and the silly roadside tourist places! And I don’t care which route we take. I was wondering if anyone had route suggestions and fun stop suggestions. Thanks!

Goblin-fae hybrid

Just wanted to share my costume/character of Beansprout (aka “beanie weenie”) the bog faerie. I was envisioning a goblin-fae hybrid creature when I was coming up with this character. I made it up for a Faerie Market event that I was helping my friend (Bloom the bubble faerie) work. She was hosting tea parties for kids and I was her helper! Also I want to tweak this costume to be a little more swampy/gremlin-y so if you have any ideas please share. I want to find a different head piece for it. I just used the tiny clown hat because it’s what I had on hand.

Me and my new friend

Me (Beanie Weenie the bog faerie) and my new friend (handsome knight in shining armor). Saw him slow dancing with another faerie later while a jazz band of goblins played. It was truly a sight to behold.
