I have an Arc Ultra, era 300s and 2 subs. After adding era 100s as fronts I feel it sounds worse?

I do hear the left and right channel sound separation much better, but I feel the dialogue is much worse, the atmos height affects and the bass are worse.

I've used the true play method for the era 100s and the arc ultra before pairing and enabling true play after.

I've actually had this set up for months and then went back to using it without fronts and it sounds much better to me.

I've also messed with the eq a ton. To get the speech where I want it, I had to nerf the bass, treble and sub to -3 or more.

Anyone else? Thoughts?
