what kind of careers can i go into with what im interested in?

i keep on thinking about my future and i feel like i found some uni programs id be interested in studying. but im just worried about if ill be able to make a good amount of money with whatever degree i get.

i want to possibly do a bachelor of arts and maybe major in english. uwaterloo also has a program for rhetoric/media/professional communication which are things im interested in as well. i'm definitely more of a social studies/english girl than a math and science girl.

i feel like im even more indecisive because i do have the grades to go into science/engineering, and the money would be amazing if i did. but i think ill be depressed if i did that stuff cause i really despise it... so what kind of careers in canada do you think i could potentially go into that would pay good? would i need a masters or phd? im aware that jobs in the type of major i want to go in arent typically super high, but yeah i dont want to be doing a job i hate for the rest of my life 🥹

what do you think joshua will do for his solo career?

im a joshua bias and im really excited to see what he ends up coming out with in the future. he's mentioned acting being one of his goals and that hes taking acting classes, and also that he's been producing music these days.

im curious where everyone else thinks his solo career will go and if anyone has any predictions/hopes for what he'll do! i personally would LOVE a solo album that has like chill/soft vibes because it matches his gentle side. i hope he'll get to showcase more of his vocals (or his secret rap skills, who knows lol.) but yeah itd be interesting to see him act too! i also want him in more variety shows because i really enjoy that.

me (17f) reconnecting with my childhood guy best friend (17m) after years of no contact

so i have (had technically?) this friend that ive known since kindergarten, and we used to be one of each others best friends and we were pretty close. however we both moved to different places and we sort of texted each other every now and then to catch up and whatever but yeah he got a girlfriend and we kind of drifted apart. i didnt really try to put much effort into it anymore because id feel like i was overstepping.

its been about 3-4 years since we last talked and im kind of curious how hes doing now and i wanna text him again to try and reconnect. but im just afraid that like weve changed so much it wouldnt be the same or that he wouldnt be open to being friends again? idk i just need advice on how to reconnect with him without seeming weird or desperate if that makes sense. also we live very far away from each other so i dont see him in person.

so im writing my first three source analysis tomorrow and im kind of scared... does anyone have any formatting tips or honestly any advice in general 😭 im most worried about the relationship paragraph because am i supposed to talk only about how all three sources relate to each other or do i need to talk about like the pairs separately too (like source 1 w source 2, source 1 w source 3, source 2 w source 3)?
if it helps, i know that one source is a quote from hitler about the aryan race superiority, one about japanese internment in bc, and a picture of jewish people wearing the badge.
