advice on getting new skates!!
so I've started classes around 5 weeks ago, taking group lessons once per week
im an adult beginner 20 yrs old, 165 cm, 70 kg, and I started with secondhand jackson mystiques. I figured since they were used when I got them, and I feel like they r squishier then when I started, it might be good to start thinking abt an upgrade,
for skates, my coach reccomended edea overture or chorus with mk pro blades, and I needed some advice on which one to get!
we started learning forward crossovers two lessons back, and we r learning 3 turns now (I have trouble with both)
im planning to skate as long as I can(bc its so much fun!!!!! i love every second of skating), but im worried I might seem too tryhard for getting the more expensive pair (because im by far the worst skater in my 4 person class,,, and im the only one that owns personal skates)
But also where im at, its around 350 usd for the overture vs around 600 for the chorus+mk pro, and im unsure which is better, especially as im still new to the sport
I think maybe im just excited abt buying new skates and maybe I dont actually really need them yet ahahah
