Dog fight
My dogs fight from time to time. Maybe once every couple months and its nothing major, almost like a sibling fight or disagreement and its over in seconds and I separate them. Ive never been worried about it because dogs correct each other and fight and argue like we do or kids do. We dont always get along either you know?
Well, recently they got into a fight I wasn't aware of because I was watching my kids and my dogs were outside. It was pretty bad and my older one (only 4) got hurt but not bad enough for a vet visit.
Since then, there has been tension between the 2 since. We tried integrating again today and the one that beat up my older guy pretty good looked to pick another fight.
Im unsure of what to do at this point because the tension is just too high between them and there is only one instigator to all of it.
I have 2 younger children in the home that he is great with but id hate for something to happen and it be my fault for not addressing the issue or removing him🤦🏼♀️
He even looks at us differently and just recently growled at my husband as well. We are thinking about rehoming to a guy my husband works with since he has no dogs.
For now until we make a decision, we are keeping them separated. Separate walks, separate family time etc but I cannot do this forever with 2 dogs. Especially when only one of them is causing the problems.
What would guys do?
