As a first time homebuyer what are or were some of the issues you ran into in the process? For me my credit situation delayed us a bit.

What is the single most common avoidable underwriting condition, delay, or surprise that repeatedly wastes time, kills momentum, or jeopardizes closings?

Also if you don’t mind, and what information do you wish you had earlier in the process?
