About Easter Wishes
Hello, there is a coworker who sent me a message last Saturday, saying “I wish that the Easter season brings you strength, peace, and hope, as well as renewed energy for your continued scientific work — which you handle excellently — and for embracing challenges in your personal life, love, and as a wonderful husband 🥰.”
I feel a little offended. Because we are not that close and he assumed that I am straight and looking for a husband (?). I am not looking for anyone. I replied to him explaining that not looking for anyone or a man. Then he replied to me, “I am christian, for us marriage is holy and bring to God”.
I have lived in Germany for three years. For me this conversation is a little weird. But should I take it as nothing? Or did I misunderstand him?
