Before TV9 channel was rebranded under Media Prima, Channel 9 was launched since September 2003 and used to be an independent channel. Since 2005, the channel 9 is no longer anymore.

Since on April 22nd 2006, Media prima bought channel 9 to rebranded Malay channel called TV9. It's been 20 years since TV9 was rebranded.

Back then, there are more cartoons, some animes and especially more Nickelodeon shows dubbed in Malay BM version called Nick di 9 block on TV9 everyday 2:30pm - 5:30pm and cartoons Nickelodeon like Spongebob SquarePants, Dora the explorer, Jimmy neutron, wonderpets, Kappa Mikey, Hey Arnold, Catdog, etc and others non-nickelodeon shows also aired like Megas XLR (cartoon Network), Static Shock, Xiaolin Showdown, Batman Beyond, and malaysian cartoons like Upin Ipin, Bola Kampung, reruns usop sontorian, Keluang man and some animes like mermaid melody pichi pichi pitch.

It's been 20 years since Nick di 9 block on TV9 was launched and bringing memories of watching these for those who can't afford ASTRO back then.

Those were the days before CJ wow shop.
