Hello rx8 owners and proffesionals

It is an 08 rx8 that doesnt start for sale near me for 3k$

Owner says it backfires and wont start, new engine newly built 2022 in it…

I realy like the rx8 and dont mind work, but buying new engine or completley rebuilt it wasnt on my mind.

Owner has only changed sparkplugs and the engine turns over.

Run away or buy and swap ignition cables, ignition coil?
