for some background info, i have a 9 year old bison who is 7 on the BCS (overweight, not obese). we can’t go on runs, but i take him on many walks because he has arthritis.

i was wondering how many calories everybody feeds their dog in a day? what is the standard for bichons?

and any tips for helping a senior bichon to lose weight?

my dog just loves food WAYYYY too much- to the point that he steals my other dogs food or hops on the table when we’re not looking.

i appreciate any advice.
