Hi there! Got excited to use pretendo on the mortimer island. It was always my favorite thing as a kid. But now that i’m here, I see it’s a completely ghost town.
Do any of you use pretendo for the online island still?
So I have a physical copy of HeartGold that I just found out was fake because it kept freezing up at the union room. I downloaded a digital copy of HG from ndsforwarder and it runs fine.
But I want to know how to get my save data from my physical game to my digital save.
I have tried replacing save files everywhere, I really cannot figure out what to do. I've tried dumping it from godmode9 and that just gave me the game, not the save file. So then I tried replacing the save file in gm9 with my save file from the cart that I got from checkpoint. Nothing. I also tried replacing the save file in the nds saves folder. Also nothing.
I really want to figure out how to transfer this data because I know that if I can't, my boyfriend won't want to play with me anymore 😭

I saw some posts about saving your nds game data to checkpoint it the ones I saw required a physical game cart. How would I backup my game save through checkpoint with a digital game from nds bootstrap?
I’m terrified of losing my pokémon progress haha
