suggestions for IR Cut filters for BMPCC 4K
I bought a used Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and, as I suspected, the IR cut filter was quite corroded.
I didn't think it would be so bad that it would show spots even at f/3, but it is, so I'm looking for a suitable filter replacement.
Rawlite is definitely out of my range, so the options I found are Kolari, STC, and Tangsinuo.
The good thing about Tangsinuo is that it is cheap BUT you have to remove the filter from the original ring and glue the Tangsinuo one with the ring (probably with silicone, even if they say it is not recommended, or phone glue).
Kolari is around 160 euros in my country, STC 140 euros instead.
Can you help me telling me which filter did you bought, if everything went well when you installed it, and if you noticed any differences?
