hello everyone! im trying to learn italian & live in italy.

one of my greatest challenges with the language is i translate it correctly in my head literally from english, but its not constructed like that in italian or the verb used is different in english than in italian.

i want to stop translating things in my head as when someone is speaking i also automatically translate what im hearing to understand it otherwise i just get lost and end up not understanding
