I did my BE in IT and started my own digital marketing agency right after college. Things were going well until lockdown hit, and I had to shut it down.
After that, I took up a job in an export company where I handled SEO and generated export leads. Later, I switched to a manufacturing company and I’m still doing pretty much the same kind of work.
Over time, I’ve started feeling like there’s very limited growth in this field (at least in my experience). The salary progression feels stagnant, and honestly, I’m losing interest in marketing altogether.
I want to switch back into IT, but not into coding roles. I’m trying to figure out what other career paths I can explore where my background (IT + marketing + SEO + lead generation) could still be useful.

The position requires BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience—7 to 8 years for BE/B.Tech candidates and 8 to 10 years for Diploma holders. Experience in the machine tools manufacturing industry is essential, with preference given to candidates from the grinding machines domain.
The role involves designing and developing surface grinding machines, creating 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and working on sheet metal guarding and machine layouts. It also includes integrating hydraulic systems into designs, selecting key mechanical components such as bearings, ball screws, and couplings, and performing cycle time calculations for grinding operations.
Candidates will also be involved in prototyping, testing, and continuous design improvements, along with preparing detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and documentation. A strong understanding of machine elements, materials, and heat treatment processes is important, along with exposure to assembly from a design perspective.
