Help with McMaster Kinesiology First year courses!
I’m going into the McMaster Kin program this fall 2026.
I was having trouble figuring out which courses are best for this program, also keeping in mind that I will be applying to OT/PT school post grad.
Right now I have the mandatory 5 kin courses (Kinesiol 1A03/1AA3/1F03/1K03/1ED3)
Also I saw a lot of people that took Kinesiol 1E03 instead of 1ED3, why is that and should I be taking that instead?
Then my elective courses:
-MATH 1LS3
-BIO 1A03
-CHEM 1A03
-PSYCH 1X03
-Half course in INDST 1A03 (For Western PT, but replace with PHYSICS or whatever else)
I am also debating between taking PHYSICS 1A03 but the issue is that I have no prior knowledge of physics, since I never took any classes in Hs. I also read it would help in KINESIOL 2A03. How helpful is physics in relation, and should I risk taking it cause I heard it was a hard course.
If I shouldn’t what other elective courses should I take instead?
