Took the rig out

First time taking my truck out since putting on 35x10.50r15. Basically bone stock 400k 4cyl 4x4 with a high boost supercharger setup and a 2" Bilstein lift. The truck does surprisingly well even without gears. I think the lightweight skinny 35s and supercharger are what makes it bearable, I bet an actual 12.5" wide tire would be awful. Future plans are gears/rear locker and to get more flex out of the rear, I'm thinking Chevy 63s and a shock relocation.

Any tips on lowering the spring on Bilstein 5100s?

So I just put preassembled Bilstein 5100s with tundra trd springs on my 4cyl and they are sitting way too high. It appears they are on the third or fourth notch. I would like to lower them to the bottom notch in what I hope would be a 2.0" lift? Can I get away with using the c clamp style spring adjusters or should I try pulling the spring with the shock still in the truck? Just worried about the excess preload.
