Chest strap heart rate monitor
Why is it not possible to connect a chest strap heart rate monitor to the Samsung Galaxy Ultra watch over Bluetooth?
This feels like a basic feature, not some niche request. Chest straps are far more accurate than wrist sensors, especially during interval training, lifting, or anything with movement. The watch clearly has Bluetooth, so what’s the limitation here?
It’s frustrating to spend this much on a “premium” watch and then find out it can’t pair with one of the most common fitness accessories. Plenty of athletes rely on external heart rate monitors for accurate data, and right now this watch just doesn’t support that use case.
Are there any plans to support external Bluetooth heart rate monitors in a future update? If not, why was that capability left out in the first place?
Right now it feels like a big miss for a device that’s supposed to be built for performance tracking.
